On top of providing a loving, Christian home to struggling children, we at Free Will Baptist Children’s Home also offer counseling for individuals and families struggling with the same life challenges. We see children and adults struggling with emotional and behavioral distress to address anxiety, depression, and behavioral management.
We want to offer these services at a low cost to those who may not be able to otherwise afford professional services, so we operate on an income-based, self-pay only basis, and services range from $5 to $20. We do not bill any insurance.

About Our Counselor
Ralinda attended the University of North Alabama and graduated in 2012 with a Master of Arts in Community Counseling. She’s a Licensed Professional Counselor in Alabama. She worked in a community mental health agency for 5 years prior to coming to the Children’s Home. She and her husband are originally from Colorado but moved South for warmer weather. As hobbies, Ralinda enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, reading, watching science fiction, and eating pasta.
